Start Your New Years Resolution Now
Every year it is the same thing.
This year I am going to finally get in shape.
This year I am going to read a lot more books.
This year I am going to travel more.
This year I am going to learn a new language.
And why? All because the calendar year increased by one.
How is that going to change anything about your motivation? How is that going to actually produce results?
I understand that the mindset is new year, new me. But why do you have to wait for the new year to make a change that you want now?
Make the change now. Or get started at least.
Join the gym now.
Start reading a book now.
Go somewhere new now.
Sign up online for a language learning course now.
You do not have to wait for the ball to drop in Times Square to start living your best life.
And while every one else is coming into the gym the first week of January with the thought of transforming their body in 2018 you will already be a month ahead.
You will already have momentum.
So when the last week of January comes and you already notice people giving up on their so called resolutions you will still be trucking along.
Because to you it was not about some arbitrary resolution that you are required to make every new year.
To you it was about becoming a better version of yourself. And for that reason you will not stop no matter the date on the calendar.
